changing the background music

is there a way to change the background music to something not from the game?

Definatly, this has been done alot, take Dann Boeing's maps for example.
I get the impression, that the best person to ask reguarding this is Phazon Elite.
He has helped many others with this sort of thing.
BTW what music did you have in mind.

well i have an mp3 but i would probably have to convert it to something else

Yea, it needs to be in .wav format.

and 16 bit stereo

i still need to know how to get it on the game.... like what folder do i put it in and do i have to put it in like the .lua?

48 kHz, 16 bit, stereo PCM, 187 kb/sec

Right now he's requesting me to put my music into that format so he can start work on my map, but I can't seem to find out how.
