The real reason I mod is all the babes you get when you tell them, hey i dress badly and have no money but I can hex edit you a darth vador mod. EYES GASPING* its pure love I tell ya. Since i started modding the big black book of names has turned into a local directory phonebook. (note: up to 50 words before this were completly made up)

Oh ok , the real real reason , rofl. I prefer challenges. Nothing gives me the feeling like making a game do what I think it should do. And being the first to do it. I dont even like official tools. I prefer to make mods on games that no one else can do mods or make the first and best mods on games that people think are (like many said of swbf) un-moddable. Once a game is commonly modded I usually get more into playing it and sharing mod tips or like swbf case, we all formed a clan of insane clowns called gt. (which was really a coverup for our underground network of computer terrorist working to cause grief in wives everywhere from 'husband always at gametoast.com addiction , we use secret messages with abilities similar to tobacco to make all modders go into a brainwashed modding trance here at gametoast ").

Shhh its all a big secret conspiracy.

I don't think many people realize how much work u guys spend on making maps. I've tried to make them, but I've failed...Horibley. I appreciate all the time and work u guys spend on making these maps :D .

Horibley is such a cool word, what is it?

! Alot of people feel this way when trying to mod for the first time. ANd swbf isnt an easy game to mod compared to other games so yes all modders deserve some kudos for efforts well spent!

Oops, spelled it wrong. Here is the definition:
Horribly-adv- 1.)Arousing or tending to arouse horror; dreadful: “War is beyond all words horrible” (Winston S. Churchill).

2.)Very unpleasant; disagreeable.

Thank you Dictionary.com!!

guru: don't tell about our plans

I'm now trying to map - which I think is the HARDEST job about modding... :?
Modelling is easy and fun :P and to create/edit the .odf files is really funny too :P
the LAST is to map - and also to make the map 100% bug-free :? - after 6 REALLY good mappers (some of the best) trid to explain me how to make vehicles spawn, Kyross did it yesterday :D nd its REALLY tough...

I'll NEVER stop modding again :P lol

- Qdin

P.S. and I got a LOT of friends and pals by modding :D

Aaahhh. That's why my wife hates me on here. That does it, I'm starting a full immediate investigation on this terroristic situation. I'll have an inaccurate, bias, and over-budgeted report of my findings that will not make any sense and give it to the DOD who will routinely delete it in three months in a little over two years. :P

Modding is hard work and some people need to realize it. People saying things like that are twelve year olds who probably never modded themselves. That is obvious from the aproach they use. There are more professional ways to say a map sucks other than OMFG THIS MAP IS S**T GET TH F***ING PEACE OF S**T OF THE BORD!!!

Problem #1: Why shout it, I think we either have good sight or a pair of glasses, so we can read fine.

Problem #2: Wouldn't it be easier to say,"I didn't like this map. I think it needs more work."

Problem #3: LEARN WRITTEN ENGLISH AND HOW TO USE A SPELL CHECKER!!!

Did I leave anything out?

I sent my first map to one person, and they liked it (for reasons beyond my understanding-well, it's sortof fun)
But I made it REALLY complicated with crossing paths and hubs one floor riskily close to hubs above etc.) And now I can't the stuipid fambaa gen working. . .I thought it would be simple. . .then I could a hide the fambaa underground or b change the requiered msh. You know what? It's THREAD MAKIN' Time!

-_-,

ROFL! Did that for effect. You should know me better than that. :)
*Used spell check for this and 90% of last post just to be safe.*

I only screw up if I don't catch it. (Grand Master of Edit button) :P
That has been some of the responses I've seen and that is usually how they typed it. Guess the intellegence of the posts matches the poster.

And Ace, LOL! There is a good example of the frustration in map making. And people gripe if there is a minor flaw. They should be lucky that was all there was. Could have been a thirty min. rush job.
