Thanks for trying out "The Dark Times!" This is a more-or-less experimental mod; I wanted to just try out some things I thought would be interesting tweaks to the game and figured that this mod would be a good platform to use.
This mod adds the "Dark Times" era to your instant action list. Several different modes are available in the Dark Times era:
Conquest (all maps)
Hero Assault (Coruscant, Naboo, Mos Eisley)
Duel (Mos Eisley)
Wave (Coruscant, Death Star, Felucia, Hoth, Kamino, Kashyyyk)
Space Assault (Space Corellia, Space Dantooine, Space Nar Shaddaa, Space Raxus Prime)
Team Dogfight (Space Corellia, Space Dantooine, Space Nar Shaddaa, Space Raxus Prime)

Notes on individual modes:
Conquest: Includes random skydomes on outside maps, Random heroes and AI heroes in singleplayer
Hero Assault: New saber combat system - light/heavy attacks, charging force powers
Duel: Hero assault minus force powers
Wave: Objective-based survival mode; enemies come in "waves." All waves SP-only, except Hoth and Kamino
Space Assault: Standard space assault with new space vehicles
Team Dogfight: Team deathmatch with starfighters, includes space heroes/hero vehicles, AI heroes (SP)

Well done again Mav the random skydome thing is definately cool along with wave mode

lol, I see this topic after I exited out of Battlefront. How many maps did you say would work with this and the Convo pack and BFX? It was somewhere around three, correct?

Your guess is as good as mine. I only know that those three should work together with a little extra space; I haven't checked it out recently though (I know this because before the 2.2 patch, BFX and the Pack worked together, and I took out more modes for the 2.2 patch than this has in it).

Wow, this is out sooner than expected, beta testing was over fast! Downloading now......thankfully it's only 84 Mb!
Ive got much more than 3 maps in my addon folder (I think 12) and I have no troubles using them along with the ConvoPack, BFX and The Dark Times.
Anyway you can move some of your maps or mods out of your addon folder to play other maps/mods.

Just tried out Conquest, Wave, and Space modes. Very tricky in conquest. I lost, but only just. Also, this being a bit of a spoiler:

I love all the new heroes, Bail Organa, Maris Brood, Starkiller, Shaak Ti. But I have yet to see Rahm Kota. What maps is he on? I saw on some of the screenshots that he was on Kashyyyk but when I went there, I didn't get him as hero, only Bail & Starkiller. I'll keep looking...

The heroes are random, I've gotten Kota on Mustafar though, so you might want to keep playing that. If the last unit is the militia elite, then either he is the hero or Starkiller is.
