Well I have started my Holiday shopping and I plan to get some major PS3 tittles. Two games I had my eye on were Resistance 2 and Fallout 3. Does anybody have a preference on which one I should get and why? Also here are the trailers.

I think Fallout 3 is better. Now, I've seen both of the trailers and they both look excellent, but Fallout 3 is a really good game (I know this because I played it at my friend's house). I'm gonna see some Resistance 2 gameplay videos a bit later, so I can compare. But at the moment, Fallout 3 is awesome.

Fallout is not a circle straf fps, it's more strategic and slower. If you want mindless killing go Resistance. If you want a game with hours of gameplay, ton of content, and something deeper then go fallout. Also Resistance multiplayer i heard was better than the first. Fallout is singleplayer only.

Fallout 3 is such a joy to play, might I add ^_^

It has such a wonderful system with the stats and everything. It has a good story line that can take as many turns as you want depending on your reputation with the other NPC's. Very fun game, I'd say that over Resistance.

Fallout 3. Quality is so much higher and the storytelling is brilliant.

But let me back a bit and say this. Once again you(people in general) are comparing to different products, like apples to oranges. Fallout 3 is an RPG played through a first person perspective. Yes it has guns, but it's not the circle strafing like a standard FPS.

Fallout 3 is if you're the RPG player, want over 20 hours of gameplay, singleplayer experience only, a great story
Resistance 2 is for the Halo player that owns a PS3, it has a good story, some really epic parts, and crazy 8 player coop, and 60 player online.

So it's more tastes, but I have to go with Fallout 3. And by the way both games are great.

NOTE: I have not played either game (Fallout 3 a very small bit). I'm just going off what I feel and have read and seen. I've done my research, so this isn't a biased fanboy speaking out.

Both games seems to be Well done.
I canot tell anything about Fallout 3.I have seen some Trailers and Commercials and it looks great but i never played it.So i wont give a Review of it.I only give Reviews from Games i played.
Resistance 2 ,which i play,is a standard good Shooter.If you like fast Non-Stop Action and great Final Bosses like Kraken,Leviathan or a huge cockroach go with R2.
