I didn't really know how to write this obviously, but you know how there can be a soldier like five yards away and it looks like he isn't carrying a gun. would that have to do with the lowres in the odf of that soldier? I find it really annoying

hmm, well did the gun show up at all? if it did then it might have to do with low rez. If not then you might be missing a mesh file.

no, he's referring w/ the part where like if you go into free cam and you look at somebody, and if they go into lowrez they don't have a gun.

i thought he was talking about looking at someone in 1st/3rd person. Well then i suppose that would be its lowrez.

Actually I know it's the lowres, but have you ever been playing and you see a guy maybe 10 yards away and he has no gun? That's what I mean. But when you are editing the .odfs for a soldier couldn't you change the low res model to the actual model? So then you would always see a guy WITH his gun and he would be detailed well also.

Is this during gameplay, or only in Free Cam mode? If so, just hit backspace when in free cam mode. The battle will continue, and you'll still be in free cam. Then you can hit escape and choose 'chase cam' to go back into your player's body.

or you could remake the low rez model. but that might lead to crashing or too much memory being used up.

Low-resolution models could be re-made if we knew how to convert *.MSH files back to a usable file-format...
