ok, I have looked over some of the tutorials on adding water and lava and stuff, and they confused me I don't even know how to add water, so i don't know how to add lava either. Do you really need to do that much just to add water? Can someone please tell me how to add lava? Thanks!

i just now got water working today, so i can understand your problem. just follow the tut in the everything you need thread exactly, and it will work. i got it working first time with it, it was pretty clear. try that, and come back here if you still have problems.

Ok, ill do that for water, but then how do you add lava?

When you do the tutorial if you want lava, you have to change the fx or the req, I'm not sure which one, to have it look for the lava texture instead. I personally think the tutorial is really clear and we can't explain it much better. There is a tut for sky and lighting as well.

OFF TOPIC:also, I want to make the platforms that are on coruscant, you no, like when in ep2 the speeders are flying around, well anyway, how can I get a coruscant platform thingy? (I could just do it using height and coloring )

Ok, I got the water to work, but there is one tiny problem: The water blinks. 1 second its there, next second its gone, next second, its back...how do you fix this?

umm can someone please tell me how to stop the "blinking" water? Also, how do you make lava?

The Mustafar lava are props.

But in custom maps, lava is just water with the texture changed, and made un-see-through-able.
