Okay... I am making a new map called "Trandosha: Hunter's Ridge and I have a serious problem. The maps plays fine with, very little lag despite about 200 units on the map at one time. The problem arises, quite literally, when I look up at the sky.
When I look at the sky the map goes kaput, or in other words it Crashes To Desktop!!!!
Can someone help me?
A decidedly odd crash...

There must be something wrong with the sky file i guess
Could you post BFront2.log, after running ModTools.exe? And don't say i've got the DVD version, look in the FAQ for the DVD Modtools.. Play the map through the modtools, and after crashing, post LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\BFront2.log here.

I did everything the tut said to get a debug file but it didn't work!
EDIT:
I had to clean it! The whole time I just had to clean before munging!
Another thing... how do I increase the view distance with the Kamino sky file? I want to be able to see the giant ship in the sky.
How do I make the map darker? Like night time and stormy?

For view distance adjust the farscenerange in the skyfile
For lighting have a look at the BF2Lighting.doc that came with mod tools it explains everything better than anyone can do in a post.
