Tip: XSI Trials

If your going to download the XSI trials then download them in this order 4.2, 5.0 and 5.1

reason: you can't use 5.1 scene files in lower versions, same in the others, but you can use lower version files in older versions

meaning that if you started a model in XSI 5.1, and the trial ran out, you can't continue, but if you start it with 4.2 then you can continue with in in 5.0 and 5.1

Thank you very much Penguin :D ! I was just wondering about these trial versions.

Only one problem to your tip is that whenever I try to download the 4.2 trial, the site says...
Server Error in '/' Application.

so that means its not available. Hopefully I still will be able to obtain it

The site has recently been reorganized. Did you get the link via google? in that case the link might be outdated.

I think your talking about the XSi 4.2 Mod Tools "freeware" while I am talking (and this thread) about XSI 4.2 Foundation "Trial version"

Sorry if i wasn't clear about that. I already have the Mod Tools.

ah ok thx, only swbf2?
Is it impossible to open a 4.2 FW file in the trials or full versions?
If that's possible I could get someone to import it;)
