I might not be able to fix your problem (I haven't been able to use the Mod Tools in months), but I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Is your tread type vehicle a stock vehicle (such as Hailfire tank)?
If it isn't, compare the code of your vehicle to another tread vehicle's code from the stock assets. Finding the differences might help you figure out where the problem is.

If I recall correctly, animations are controlled by a combo files. If some old notes that I have on modding are correct (and they should be), combo files should be in the same folder as ODF files and be referenced by the ODF file. If you are missing a combo file for your vehicle or do not reference your combo file in your odf, that would be your problem.

If you need to create a combo file or the problem is within the combo file, then the solution to your problem is beyond my knowledge on how to address since I have never made my own combo file before. There should be some good information on combo files elsewhere on the forums.

It's also possible that I'm entirely wrong, so someone else who is more knowledgeable should add on here. Again, the more details provided, the more helpful the community can be.

Vehicles don't use combo files. :)
