weird skinning problem [solved]

hey people, obiboba3pos back from florida, and has another problem.

so i make a skin, works great, then i update it, (well change it), do everything, and the old one keeps showing up ingame, even when i checked and the new ones there, not the old. this is weird, help and tnx.

When you change the skin do a save as and then save it as a different file name. Rename it to match the skin you're replacing and then overwrite the original. Make backups of the original if necessary.

I had this problem once before. Copy your skin into a new file and save it as you normally would if it was a brand new skin. Try doing a clean if that dosen't work.

That seems like your best option. I have done that once and it worked perfectly!

ok this is really messed up, i cleaned, and the skin is still there...

Got to _build/sides/*side where the skin is*/pc and find the file that is your skin name, with .texture at the end of it instead if .tga, delete it, and munge your side.
It's basically a very specific manual clean.
That way your re-munge doesn't take forever and a day.

i fixed it. all it needed was a good clean.
