Massive Side files

hello, when ever i compile my map, my sides folder ((in addon)) is over 170 MB >.< all i have in there is the CIS and REP teams ((ep2 clones, a few vehicles, and heros)) ((and droids, vehicles, and heros)) is there a way to make the sides folder smaller?
((the only things edited are 3 vehicles, 1 droid, and 1 clone))

Did you copy the shipped sides and then edit them? If you have the whole shipped side it will be huge! Your supposed to kind of put in only what you use. If you want to have a huge new side with everything new than there no way around it being big.
If you just trying to edit a couple things then those edited things should be the only thing in your side folder.

My mod folder was 336 mb, just about all of it sides. I cut out a heap of world objects and sides stuff I didn't need and have it down to 190 mb.
I very seriously doubt you need the whole thing, just make sure you dont delete files something else used might need.
