perhaps u didnt get me....i was asking if u'd considered IF the game engine can support such skins...have you tested them in game?

I think he's refering to the problems that may arise from using too many high res textures. You may find you get issues if you try to push the boundaries of the model memory too much and potentially game performace might drop dramatically.

true ive already started to realize that but i notised the swbf 2 2ngine can handkle allot but im aklso thinking of keeping the skins resolution and sharpening it adding more detail.

IVe already started on the first map GEONOSIS so il c it during tyhe process of the map what the game engine can handle and maybe tweek it a bit :)

Not yet :P cause i dont have a map to test it in atm but im workin on it ;)

il psot screenies soon of the new sides and the high res Fightertank skin :)

ok, well im not sure exactly what u meant by "maybe tweak it a little" but i assure u, if you are referring to tweaking the game engine itself, u go ahead and do that, but do not release the map to the public....tweaking game engines stuffs the rest of the game up, so you'd have a lot of angry people.

Basicly im planning to make:

High Resolution Skins
Higher resolution/Quality GRound Textures
Enhanced maps
Better Vehicles
Better weapons
Bigger explosions
More Classes
More maps
Acurate Clone skins on Each maps
A large part of this can be done with simple reskinning and ODF changes. If memory does become an issue the "tinkering" can be done to the mission LUAs etc... so nothing to cause major problems or to be too difficult. By enhanced maps do you mean remaking the originals (which are already being done) or by having similar environments but with the upgraded weaponry, units etc... ?

im currently working on the republic side i got the medkit ingame :d and Theoreticly it SHOUDl work

ive also made some new episode 2 skins and so onn :P

I just finished a very hi res ep3 skin, game runs fine even on UBER mode.

Youl have no problems really . The majority of textures are pallets anyway so most models only call 1 texture.

The textures in this game could have been ALOT higher in quality. Some ... like the Mygeeto ones are good but most are the same as in SWBF1.

The main thing that makes the game look better than SWBF1 is the improved lighting.

eyh ive already madae a hgier Quality Kamino platform for naboo ur gonna c a WHOLe new map like completely diferent its basicly gonna be like it was suposed to be a map with 2 Canals going trough it and brigdes and all :D

Geonosis will have the feel of geonosis spire but biger and more vehciles.

Im planning an average 10 Cp's Per map
