? That's a new one for me. What games give you three lives?

well let's see alot of the ones I am going to mention are online games so lets see here is a quick list:

Robo Mike 2

Commando 2 I think gives you three lives but I don't think it is categorized under survival games.

Man it's been so long since I played those online games uuuummmm.

Lord of the Bings (Not a typo it's really called that)

Burger shop defense (weird name I know)

Zombie tank

That's all I can think of right now. Keep in mind that they are all online games as I don't remember any games that you buy under the category of survival.

So, no offense, but all games nobody's heard of.

Pacman?

There are lots of games where the objective is survival and the loss of a life means game over - virtually every RPG and most action games (Zelda, Metal Gear) are this way. However I don't really need a precedent set - this is my wave mode and the rules are if you die, you lose. The challenge of the mode is set up accordingly; if you had more than one life it would be too easy.

Oh and by the way:
I'm moving on from my working name of "Battlefront Unleashed" to my final name of "The Dark Times." I'll be honest and tell you that it was originally called "Battlefront Unleashed" not just because it has a lot of Force Unleashed content, but also because I knew it would get people to pay attention to it. I'd prefer, though, for my final mod not to have it just be a spliced videogame name, so "The Dark Times" it is - this is after all the time period in which this is set. (And yes you can and should expect to see Alec Guinness talking about dark times and whatnot in the trailer, whenever that happens.)

Here's a tentative small logo for the mod:

Nice name change there Mav.I think the name still seems fine, but you're right, I don't expect you will have got half the amount of views with 'The Dark Times' but now people are hooked. This is going to be an era right? Any preview on the logo for that?

Except that I never wrote those words. The word "final" was used but only in reference to titles.

I have to agree. Even though I do like the new title, I don't think you'll get enough viewers because it was called originally Battlefront: Unleashed and people got all hyped on that since they played the original FU and now that its coming for BF2, that's like the best of both worlds.

None taken as I said they are online games.

And Mav I personally wouldn't classify games like Halo and Metal Gear and all a survival game they go under the name Role playing Game. In a way I guess they would be survival games but still they are really RPG's. But let us not pursue this subject as it will just lead to "Spamming".

So nice name and Logo. Good "Marketing" ploy too!

Um this has, more than likely, been addressed but which side will Star Killer be? He is a hero to be earned correct?

@ Commander_Fett That's what I thought, but because it's so small in game you wouldn't really be able to tell what the image was.

You are talking about different things. The picture I posted is a small logo, you are asking what the era icon is. The era icon looks like this:

Classic conquest is a mode not an era but I think it looks quite similar. Nice work with that icon.

I like The Dark Times name better. It definitely applies to the Time and Era but also reminds me of the Star Wars: Dark Times comic series.

That logo didn't look like Star Wars at first until I noticed the Naboo props. It sorta reminds me of Star Wars Galaxies must be the color but it does give a different view towards Star Wars Battlefront II and looks really cool.
