Changes brought by SWBF's patch 1.2
Hello !
I'ld like to obtain a list of all the modifications brought by the latest SWBF's patch (Version 1.2) to the Sides' *.LVL files, with all possible details, like modified files' names and changed entries in them. (Only if these informations are available...)
Thanks in advance !...

The .LVL files were not modified in any way. The only thing they did with v1.2 was modify the sides, which didn't require any modification the .LVL files in any way to the best of my knowledge.

RE: Changes brought by SWBF
Sides are contained in the LVL files
. But anyways, the exact changes may be hard to track down, as I doubt the devs documented all of the balancing fixes they did.

Nevertheless, I'll try to contact Pandemic Studios to obtain more details about the updates made by the last SWBF's patch on the sides' *.LVL files.Sides are contained in the LVL files. Unfortunately, I always remove "read-me" files after a patch's installation. The exact changes are in the readme that came with the patch. Always read the documentation.
Consequently, could you copy the content of all "read-me" files affiliated with SWBF's patches that you've got on your computer, please ?... (Patches 1.01, 1.02, etc...)

At the 1.2 Patch's LucasArts page, Pandemic would have modified the "Jet Trooper EMP launcher reload time", but I've not found any difference between old EMP launcher's *.ODF files and new ones.
Can you tell me if you have noticed changes of this reload time in the game ?

But when we Munge, does it use the old 1.1 ODFs files of the Modtools, or does BF use the new ones included in the Patch ?CGArtist wrote:The reason you haven't seen any difference is, the patch doesn't update the ODF's in the Modtools, it just makes the changes in the game. Therefore, the ODFs before and after are the same.
If the first answer is the good one, then it would be important to update our ODFs files, to be sure we're not losing improvement of 1.2 Patch.

That's wrong, because I successfully found all the changed values for the Dark Trooper's shotgun accuracy, its jetpack's reload time, droïdeka's shield hit points, ... except the EMP launcher's reload time. The reason you haven't seen any difference is, the patch doesn't update the ODF's in the Modtools, it just makes the changes in the game. Therefore, the ODFs before and after are the same.
That's strange, isn't it ?...
But when we Munge, does it use the old 1.1 ODFs files of the Modtools, or does BF use the new ones included in the Patch ?
Exactly...But when you create a custom side, unless you change the values manually, it is going to use the 1.11 ODFs.
