Problem with ZeroEditor
After I get done loading my map, the Editor shows a black streak through the top, and not quite the entire map is shown. Any ideas what's going on?

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
Can you post a screenshot of this problem? Does this problem affect your ability to work with ZE? Has any major changes occur with your computer recently?

None that should affect it. I can load my test map fine.AQT wrote:Has any major changes occur with your computer recently?

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
Ouch. That could be hardware issues. Maybe not though. Have you messed with anything in /data_[yourmap]/Editor/?

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
If other maps load fine try copying that world's data to a new map folder and running it again.

You can also try to copy over a new .exe from the data folder to that projects data folder. And if it doesn't work, copy the data\Editor folder to data_@#$\Editor.

Not that I am aware of.Teancum wrote:Ouch. That could be hardware issues. Maybe not though. Have you messed with anything in /data_[yourmap]/Editor/?
I'll try that.501st_commander wrote:You can also try to copy over a new .exe from the data folder to that projects data folder. And if it doesn't work, copy the data\Editor folder to data_@#$\Editor.
EDIT:
It didn't work.
I think I will munge and take a screenshot of the map, so you can see what's going on.

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
are these messed-up buttons only visible on the screenshot?
did you change your grahicsettings globaly with your driver ?(e.g. nvidia control center)
and does your firewall/antivirus maybe not let run ZE unlimited?

Just now, for the first time. And only with this map.

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
I'd say one of the file's is corrupted or stuffing up. Off the top of my head, there should be a folder in your data_*** folder which has all the files ZE needs to run. Maybe try replacing that folder with one from a working map?

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
perhaps this is just an ol'fashioned glitch. Could you try making a new map and seeing if this problem repeats itself?

That would take too long. I'd have to close up my WIP.

Re: Problem with ZeroEditor
So this problem ONLY happens after you load your map, not when you start ZE?
