Did you burn the shadows into your terrain? Ideally, you'll want to have a static (buildings, etc.) directional light and then colored ambient lighting (which isn't a "placed" light) to light your units. To get a static light to show up, you'll need to use the "burn terrain" button (see the lighting tutorials for how to do this).

Really? Wow. Never knew that.
And I lol'd at that spider droid. I have no idea what's wrong other than....the animations are out-of-scale? I got a similar result when I scaled up a Jawa but didn't scale the anims.... I think there was a thread on this, somewhere.

i don't agree with the at-te, at-rt and snail tanks
because in the movie there was none of them
and if the canons will be able to shoot, it plus the AT-TE will crush the enemy tanks, it may unblance the whole battle
another important thing are the units
in the battle we only saw clones (plus rex and cody) battle droids and super battle droids
remember that in the movie, he ATTs were the worst new to the clones, but with the AT-TEs on their side the ATTs will be easly destroyed.
do you understand what i mean??
does anybody else agree?

it's beacuase i recenty saw the episode where the traitor clone destroys everything and they say only the canons survived
and i forgot the scene from the movie
now that you've shown them to me
i'm even more exited because the map is very well done
and another thing

how do you make a custom model?
like the canons
with a 3d modeling software? like Rhinoceros?

I saw that episode too, and I was wondering how to survive the AT-TE walker, but watching the movie I realized that there was.
Models SWBF2 you can make any 3D design software but you have to export them to SoftimageXSIFoundation or SoftimageXSIModTool as .OBJ able to export files MSH. Check the forum for XSI. the process is long.

Los modelos para SWBF2 puedes hacerlos con cualquier programa de diseño 3D pero tienes que exportarlos a SoftimageXSIFoundation o SoftimageXSIModTool como .OBJ para poder exportarlo como archivos MSH. Revisa el foro de XSI. el proceso es largo.

the only problem is that i don't remember, and could find a good screen, from the shuttles back
so if someone could help me with that the model will be done
ive built the wings in another file in case that is needed to do the animation when it lands/takes off and do i export everything together? or the wings apart?
HELP: im a bit rusty with rhino and i dont know how to do the skins
so if i could give the model to someone who knows would be great
el unico problema es que no se como es la parte de atras de la nave, asi que si me podes ayudar buscando una imagen voy a poder terminar el modelo.
hice las alas por separado por si acaso, es que no se bien como funciona eso de la animacion para cuando despegue y aterrice.
y otra cosa: exporto a XSI todo junto? o las alas por separado (para eso de la animacion)??
AYUDA: estoy algo oxidado con el rhino, y no se como se hacen los skins, no se como ponerle los colores a la nave, asi que si se lo puedo pasar a alguien que sabe seria genial.

you need Gimp Editor for make skins. it is in .tga format.

I believe there weren't any ARCs, the clone commanders were Rex and Cody.

i'm sorry but I have no idea what you are talking about
i did the model with Rhinoceros 3.0
i can export the model to .3dm or .3ds format and some other ones but no XSI
and i dont know how to use the gimp editor thing
maybe i can finish the 3d model, and the give it to you by e-mail and you can finish it, i'm fine with that, we can share the credits for the mod.
here I add some new screens of a more detailed front and the engines on the back are made as similar as i remember them from dont remember whch episode or maybe the movie, the fact is that i couldn't find it yet

Well, .3ds is the extension for the 3DS-Max software by Autodesk. Its used to create animations for characters in BF2, I believe Kit Fisto in the Conversion Pack is one example. It might be possible to get it ingame, but I wouldn't know how. All I do is Sketchup.
