Man, I really wish I could play the BFX mod but I can't because then I have to get rid of a lot of my maps.

then get rid of some of them lol. trust me its way worth it

It definitely is worth it! Get rid of however many maps you need, this is a must for the BF2 gamer!
EDIT: 2 pics I just took:

@Nova: In case you never thought of this, put a folder in your addon folder called "backup." You still have all of your maps, just the game can't read 'em. Although, you might wanna put a .txt in the folder with the names of which maps are in the folder and which map is which 3-letter world name.

Ok, I'll do it. The only problem is, I dunno which maps to put, because all the maps I have I really like so its kinda hard, if you get my meaning.

I have the same problem. I regularly cycle maps in and out, except the maps that A: take too long to move b/c huge filesize or B: They're one of my absolute faves, such as Tat: Tuskencamp

Lol, me too. It's just really hard to tell which ones I wanna get rid of since I either a: like the environment a lot or b: like the custom skins that they have.
A lot of favs include:

the 607th mappack
Telos: Mandolorian (forget full name)
Khimera
Khimera Jungles
KASHYYYK by YankFan and dust
Geonosis by Yankfan
Felucia: Bog

It's really hard to decide on which maps I should put in the backup folder...

I don't see how this is an issue. Just put all of them in there. If you want to play one, move it out. You just need to exit Battlefront for, what, a minute (?) tops, if you want to change out maps. Taking a minute-long break every hour or so to switch maps is hardly an issue.
