Model converting question

Post by aragorn12712 »

Can you take models from JKA and put them as, like, a vehicle? if so, how hard is it?

You would have to convert them using a couple diffrent 3D modeling programs.
A vehicle probably wouldn't be hard, depending on what kind of vehicle.

so, a space vehicle that needs little to no animation would be easy?

Fairly yes, I set up the yellow submarine model to be a flyer, in Dann's map.
Its not to hard, especaly if it needs no animations.

Yeah, as long as something needs no animations (which most vehicles don't - thank you repulsorlifts!), once it's a .msh file with a correct texture, it's easy to set up ingame.
