Making Person Models with Blender

hey Folks,
for a couple of days i edited a clone trrooper model, stock model of corse and i exported it to vrml and with the MSH viewer to MSH. Textures and everything is working fine, BUT in game while loading my map with the new Model the screen turns black and the game crashes. DO I have to add some bones or a skeleton or something???Cuz im doing this for the first time...nearly

yes, you need to envelope units to the swbf2-unitskeleton to get them to move ingame, however if the game crashes when loading the unit you must have done something wrong in the exportingprocess
the enveloped unit can only be exported with a full or trial version of XSI 5.X, but can be enveloped with a free version of XSI(, like the modtool

Yes, you need to ad bones and envelop character models. For SWBFII, you can only do this through several specific XSI versions. See the 3d modelling FAQ for more info.

That menas that it is not possible to make such kind of models with blender ,right?So what about dloading the 30 days trial version of XSI or ya, i know where the links to the various XSI vrersions are, but i read something about "FRed's Skeleton Model" is it necessary to dload it? If yes, where ?I do it the first time so it would be very friendly if you could tell me what to do step by step,but don't put yourself out on my account :funny2: :cpu:
