Hex-Editing problem (maybe?)

Ok, so I've followed the AQT's tutorial to hex edit capes on troopers. It worked perfectly with the rebel heavy trooper. I've tried it with the Caleb's Mando trooper (the stormie body + galactic marine head model) and I'm sure I've followed the tut well. In fact when I open the model with the cape hex edited on the MSH Viewer it does not crash and you can see the model right BUT in-game it does not show :| In-game you can only see the weapon floating but no crash and no sev.3 so what's wrong?

I had the same problem when i tried to hexedit a cape,
Look through the tutorial and your files again and see if can find any problems.
Did you put the line: ClothODf in the units odf?

Yes, I did.

It's strange..I've succeded adding cloth to the stock rebel vanguard and fleet trooper BUT with the new model (for example the rebel saboteur by Icemeber and the KOTR Mando by Caleb) it does not work...why? maybe I dont have to modify the HERD and MSH2 on them?

You have to modify the HEDR and the MSH2, because without them the file is to smal for the cape or something, didn“t really understand that part.
But are you sure that you took the whole cape hexedit line and pasted it on the right line in the units msh?
could you post a pic of your msh in hexeditor?
