I have to say, this looks like the best map you've done so far. Keep it up, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

 This map looks REALLY good. However, there are quite a few places that don't really have any cover; and why are there moisture evaporators when this looks like a rather temperate setting? I think random weather would be really neat to see, at least a variation with rain and a variation without rain. Also, you could reskin/remodel some of the Geonosis props to look like large stone "buildings" that have caves/crevices carved out of them, or maybe into metal structures that look like settlements or science labs? Also also, is there some sort of story behind this map?

EDIT:

Oh, and is there some sort of ambient soundscape to top it all off? Because if there isn't...... :? Also, would you be interested in possibly plugging this map into my Mass Effect Mod? Obviously I would need to play this map, test it out, etc. first, but I just may be interested...

I am currently adding more boulders/trees to serve as fair enough cover. Also I wanted to have the moisture evaporators just to serve as one of the map's props in the plateau.

I am still trying to figure out the random weather coding format, good idea though! I may not change up the geonosis props into metal because i would rather stone spires/hangers be stone.

I haven't made up a story for this map yet for both era's but I will make one up soon. There is also a mygeeto wind soundstream sound stream. Also, I will let you know about possibly plugging in this map into your mod!

Here are a couple more screenshots that help explain alot more:

I can help you if you need help with the random weather, especially if you are having trouble getting the random weather to have the right sound stream.

Looks like a really good map, modmaster. I would heed Marth's words though, the landscape does indeed look barren. Maybe some fallen trees, barricades, etc would do the trick. I would also like to see custom sides rather than the default.

Overall, looks great!

Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

I don't think it looks too barren. It looks kinda neat if you ask me.
Nova Hawk wrote:Maybe some fallen trees, barricades, etc would do the trick.
Barricades would be nice, but there's something about the starkness of the map that makes it look good.

That's because it only *looks* good; that part of the map probably doesn't really make for very good gameplay yet due to huge lack of any cover and the amount of ground you need to cover and traverse.

Oh my this looks cool. Re-texturing the Geonosis props was an amazing idea. I think Rhen Var props may match the setting...if you want. Keep up the wonderful work!

I'd suggest adding some color (slight hints of blue/purple/red) or some moss in the rock texture. It just seems very bland and grey right now.

Love it. I would mix up some of the terrain textures, however.

QFT, it reminds me of TK432's maps and skyhammer's dark space ones. And i agree with Era of Desann, variation on the terrain textures would be nice  .
