A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...
The Battle of Hoth was a crushing blow to the Rebel Alliance, taking many of their resources. Pilot Han Solo has friends on the planet of Bespin that may be able to aid the Rebellion as they nurse their wounds. The Fleet travels to Bespin, not knowing the trouble they're in...
This is map 1 of 5 in my Independent Source series. This 0\one is located on Bespin, but the others are in all kinds of enviorments.
Screens from Bespin:
Mode Layout:
Conquest: GCW. Minor changes to sides.
Assault: GCW. Bespin heroes Assault.
Hunt: Bespin Guard vs. Imperials.
Campaign: Imperial's Campaign.
Things to do:
Add more cover
Add flyers
Fix bugs
Comments?

Looks great. Only thing that looks not so good is the city and the rather nasty terrain and texture under it, but, like you said, you'll fix that.

That looks great! Just needs custom sides. And another sky.

But that's the color of Bespin's sky.
My suggestion is to do away with the terrain entirely and just use objects as your floor.

Oh!

It looked like the standard one. Ok.

Yeah. The city I've worked on the least. I still need to add more buildings and add all the other components.

I tried something like that, but it didn't work. I was going to use one of the other platform models to support the city, but since I have the carbon chamber in there it didn't work out how I planned. The only way that would work is if I got a whole new model, which might have to happen.
I'll work on it tonight and post updates.

It also seems excessively huge. It would take a really long time to get from one end to the other.

Sounds good. I suggest a lot more buildings in the city.

looks good.

the only thing that got me and has been mentioned was the terrain underneath the platforms. can you make it invisible? if so that would look good. anyways, i havent seen one of these yet, so great job!

What the city? I've almost finished the accessible part. The rest is just for effect.

Don't you ever read?

It's impossible to get half of the terrain invisible. If you don't texture it, it defaults as black terrain. I thought about adding fog, but that horrible terrain would still be partially shown, so I think I'll have to get someone to make a huge platform with a hole in it for the carbon chamber and the area around it. Anyone up for it? Maybe include the weather vane where the Falcon picked up Luke as a goodie. But it must have a hole in it for the carbon chamber.
And yes. I wanted to start the series from a point in the GCW that was partially well known, so I chose Bespin. I was going to pick Hoth, but it occured too early in my opinion, and it is way too overused.
I've got a lot to do tonight, so I may not be able to work on it much, but what I've got planned to do for this week is implement the vehicles and turrets. I plan to have X-Wings and TIE Fighters along with the turrets from the original two Bespin maps. Then my goal is to get Chaos Assault working.
This all depends if I can tear myself away from Portal.

Add fog from the mygeeto assets to the bottom part, or make you near/ far scene range low enough so you dont see the floor...
I did read, and thats my suggestion.

Sorry. I have a tendency to just look at the pictures.

Still, where the texture reaches the gray ground you'd still see it.
And I just got Assault working for a couple of seconds, I'm trying to fix it right now, then I'll post some pics.
@JPI: Even if you didn't read, which you should, do you
seriously think I'd leave it like that?

Update:
Assault screens
This is merely one side. The other side should be Ewoks, but is messed up and I still have to fix it. Then I have to do a bit more side editing, add a secret unlockable unit to both sides, and Assault is done!
EDIT:

Sucess! I now have both teams working! The only thing is the Ewoks are horrible..... Now just some skinning and odf editing, then the special units. Any ideas for the specials?

Loos good, and assuming you want crazy sides, a guy with a Crossbow, Rocks and some sort of MOAROS (Mother-Of-All-Ridiculously-Overpowered-Superweapons) might be nice (basically, two really primitive weapons and one insanely strong, one use only weapon)

For ewoks, how about a chaingun that fires ewok spears?

you had me up until the jawas and tuskens with the rainbow colored guns. (seriously, could you explain why you chose that?)
The layout actually looks like something I would like to play. I think you are pretty faithful to the depictions of Bespin itself in the movie.
Are you really doing a campaigne? Because that is just phenonminal.
