First a simple question does anyone know the difference I know one is an object and one is a region (from looking at kamino world in ZE). But mainly I wanted to know the difference in their functionality does one do one thing and the other something else do they need to be together in order to get sound. Also is there any good tutorial on setting them up that anyone knows of. I looked on fred's site and there's hints at tutorials but not one specific one. I think Rends got them working for his maps but there's also no tut here at GT.

Sure it does.

The page the quote came from also indicates that sound spaces are regions. Assuming that sound regions are regions, what object are you talking about? The quoted page and the dialogue between psych0fred and Rends also indicated that sound spaces are used to capture and reverberate sounds.

It is also possible to place ambient sounds by adding the snd_amb_static.odf
or snd_amb_streaming.odf entities to the world and then setting the properties.
