Some Qestions:
Where did you get the tools and how big was it?
What exactly did you do with the fill after yiu downloaded it?
Did you extract the files, or just double click on it, and luanch the mod tools(in WinXP, .zip files can open like normal folders)

Don't Despair, the answer is out there, and we can tell you what it is, as long as you tell us exactly what is wrong. 'Retrace your footsteps' if possible. This is the key to getting questions anwsered on forums.

i got it from filefront mods and i dont know how big it was. i put the file BFbuilder in lucasarts like it said. i put in a file path that didnt contain spaces i extracted it and clicked on the .hta file and i made the map and clicked on edit mod1 and the screen came up and it stops working there.

biggies, in your second post, you talked of an editor... Did you mean ZeroEditor, BFBuilder or others ?...

is the program just crashing or what? Are you getting a script message? If so you should open zeroedit from the the map folder and not bfbuilder

hmm... yeah, I got that error once too... hey, you DIDNT save/run/extract the folder/BFBuilder under such path:
C:/Documents/Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Battlefront/BFBuilder/etc. ???you see the spaces between "Program Files" and lets say... "Star Wars Battlefront"??? there is usually some problems when you have extracted the folder into such path, try instead this: C:/Documents/Program_Files/LucasAtrs/BFBuilder/ etc. toy get it? try to extract the WHOLE folder(s) under a path with NO spaces

lol, I've heard problems with the "spaces" in the path, so I now suggest to extreact the folder in another patg as my first answer, LOL

well, try it out

C ya

Try to extract SWBF Mod Tools to your hard-drive's root...
