I'll be getting the 360 demo and looking for some of you on Xbox Live.

I might download it later. To be honest I haven't paid any attention to the game's development. Is it still pretty much Lord Of The Rings Battlefront?

Yeah, I think so, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Tried it for the PS3 yesterday. It was decent, but MP takes a TON of getting used to. Single player, on the other hand, is a very entertaining slaughterfest. It's nice to see Zero's new face, too. Graphics are nice, battles are huge, lag is nonexistent in singleplayer. *hopes for modtools* 8.5/10

Yeah sorry - typically I play Rock Band or Destroy All Humans! of late. I really need to pop in Halo 3 so you can kick my butt some more.


So for anyone wondering if LotR: Conquest uses the Zero engine, a Pandemic Studios (employee?) forum admin stated it in fact does. (Not surprising, as it's perfect for this type of game)

Not a LotR fan but I'll try the demo (PC) when it's released.

I've been looking around for a release date for the 360 demo, and then you got my hopes up again when you said it was out for 360. I was reading some IGN comments on the PS3 demo and the reception is mixed.

A new trailer came out last week: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/14235 ... 21908.html. It shows off some awesome-looking battles and the graphics aren't too bad either. Well, except for the character models, which belong in last-gen.

Xbox 360 demo has just come out. I'm downloading it right now! Finally!

I love how much it feels like BFII. Four different classes, "vehicles" (Ent/Cave Troll), heroes, command posts, and the ARC Caster. However, all of these things have been changed just enough to change the game, for instance, the command posts are now more like spawn points than instant victory items. I'm still all like "asfghskjfszdfjslkgjldf" after playing it so I'll try to write more about it later.

Oh, and Thire and I were on The Shire level, he was an archer, I was a mage, and I pulled a Gandalf on the enemy's Troll. With the Mage's ARC Caster, I killed it while shouting "YOUUUUU... SHALL NOT...PAAAASSSS!"
