How do find 5 edged shapes easily [Solved]

How do find 5 edged shapes easily [Solved]

From what i was told five edged shapes can mess up meshes so is there a way to easily search for five edged shapes ?

Change your Polygon selection filter to N-gon, then rectangle select the whole object and only polygons with 5 sides or more will be selected.
You could also just triangulate the model prior to export, like Epifire was saying in your other thread.

My solution I always do (mostly on models which are not too high polyed): Triangulate and then Quadrangulate. There still would be some edges but you could manually remove them by selecting and deleting them.
