I am making an urban map of muunilinst, but really need good quality textures for the architecture. I tried making my own, and while ok, they still look shabby next to real proper textures.

Does anyone know where I can get good quality textures that are seemless? I really need metal panels, skyscraper windows, flooring and decorative cornices and other ornamental accessories.

I don't really want to steal textures either, they must be royalty free.

You should just edit SWBF1/2 textures.

Mix and match parts from different tga's.

Thats what I do. That way you still get that SWBF feel but if you do it well no-one will realise youv used SWBF textures at all.

Hope that helps

if you had a finished texture i can tell you how to use photoshop to make it a seamless texture so that it can be tiled indefinitely without any noticeable seams, itll look like one big texture.

Don't forget to look through your msh folders there are some tileable textures there as well. Also try doing a Google search for tileable textures there are some sites on the web that offer royalty free tileable textures.

Note:
Don't forget that your textures should be in multiples of 8 like 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc...
