Ok, I know how to overclock but whenever I restart it goes back to it's original settings, here's what I do:

1.I got to the BIOS menu
2.I go to the frequency/ voltage control
3.I go and make my CPU frequency 152, but that's as high as it will get (3.014 GigaHertz :D)
4.I press F10 to save and press enter with "Y"

-if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please tell me..
-oh and I overclocked it to the max before and it stopped, I had to remove the battery so it would forget the settings, ever since then it cannot remember it's CPU frequency.......

-Thanks in advance......

Perahps you didn't put the battery in correct, or the overclocking has damaged the BIOS. I haven't a clue, i'm just taking random guesses...

A bad battery shouldn't matter as long as the computer's plugged in. Also, the time and all other settings would get reset each reboot too.

Go into the BIOS and change some unimportant setting (like disable your parellel port). Save, restart, and see if that setting changed back.
