I hope I'll be able to test this or something. I am looking totally forward to it, despite the lack of updates as of late (RL is important, so I can relate there). Anyways... :p Dark Forces.... sounds like a game I want to go and play again. It's been a long time.

I'm currently working on the Team Death Match sides/script. Besides that the only things left to do are Campaign (Saitek's working on it) and localization and the map will be done.
I hope I'll be able to test this or something.
Sure, you can test it. I already had you (and several others) in mind.
The only update I have now is this:
Just some advice, feel free to ignore: don't let realism damage gameplay. It's no fun when one side always massacres the other, even though in this case that's exactly what happens (canonically).
Of course. Conquest has been set up to use the shipped sides. Uber mode has the Dark Troopers.

My sister's wedding is over, so life has returned to normal. I've worked through a bit of the campaign already and I'm hoping to have it finished this week.
AQT, if you have a special Kyle Katarn side(model+weapon models) made up could you send it to me sometime soon so I can plan it in? Otherwise I'll just work with what I have.

So, how goes it, AQT?
Also, when I asked about the Imperial Landing craft, I was referring to a specific type of ship rather than the Sentinel-class that you put. I have yet to find it on the Star Wars wiki, but if you want a ref pic I can get one for ya so people can perhaps make a prop out of what I link eventually if I find a picture. Unless you wanted to keep this ship. I think this landing craft you placed looks very nice in that place, but perhaps if there was another place for an Imperial craft, I can suggest someone making a model for you of it so you can probably place it if you so wished.

Agreed, in Dark Forces they used this Delta-Class Stormtrooper Transport.

Actually, I think that ship was only in Mysteries of the Sith. However, I did see it in the Dark Forces Mod for JKA.

RevanSithLord, if you can get a hold of the Delta-Class Stormtrooper Transport that was used in the JKA Dark Forces mod maybe we can ask someone to convert it to .msh format? I suppose I can add it to Campaign then.
And some bad news: The Phase I Dark Trooper randomly crashes every time no matter what .combo file it uses (even a stock one). I'm going to have to cut it, sorry.

I'm getting close to being done with the campaign. I'm happy to say that it will at least remind you of the actual campaign.

I should have it finished pretty soon.
I know I asked this with the last Talay map, but does anyone know of a model that could be used for the Moldy Crow?

We've got a model in the Conversion Pack assets; it may take some work to get working for SWBF2, though.
Edit: Yes I know the textures are a little off, I think that's an artifact of the viewer and not the model because they seemed fine in Unwrap:

I downloaded the Convo Pack assets at one point.I'll have to see if I can find that specific model.
Even if the texture mapping is messed up(which it probably isn't) it'll still work great for this map's purpose. You're only going to see it for a couple of seconds at the beginning and the end of the mission.

Was actually a map prefab. I don't know exactly how someone would turn a map prefab from Q3 Engine format to a .msh format for this. I'll see if I can't look around, and if I can't, oh well, this map will be great despite a few things not being available for it to be completely DF look a-like. This goes with the DT P1 as well, unless you can fix the problem eventually.
Glad it looks nice in-game, though.
As for the assault cannon model I am making, I'm gonna have to let someone else take it up and stuff, because modeling-wise, I just get too side-tracked easily to get anything done regarding that -- and mapping/modding, though I like to help where I can. Skinning and Photoshopping stuff will continue to run in my blood in-case someone needs skins for anything. I've just not had much luck in being totally focused on something I keep promising will eventually get done (this excludes my filming stuff). Good luck with the map, I am here for suggestions/testing, etc, if you need me for that.

Alright the campaign has been completed and shipped off. I spent more time on that campaign than I usually spend on the entirety of one of my own maps.
I hope you guys enjoy it.
