Quick question about hex editing capes.

I was going to try hex editing a bf2 vader cape to another unit, but I wasn't quite clear on Rep's tutorial. Am I supposed to copy the text after the NAME line, or the MODL line with the hex editor?

always since MODL word to before the next MODL word for example MODL......lalaMODL so is:
MODL.....lala

Your MODL chunk includes the "MODL" at the very beginning.
