My map will be coming out in 2-4 days. Its a fun sniper map that will keep you entertained for hours. You'll see it when it comes out! >.<

Please people! This is like the fourth topic int he last week without screenshot backup. Please read the sub-forum rules before posting.

If you don't provide screens of your map within three days of your posting of the topic, I'm going to have to close this. If that does occur, just PM me and I'll re-open it.

lol thnaks for backing me arty. I shall post screenies. My map takes place on the lush green grassy sniper grounds of yavin where your bound to get a bullet in your head. My map contains, hills, mountains, percipatatation in the bloody form, raining from the sky as your battle armour gets drenched. (blood or fruit punch, yur choice :lol:) my map supports conquest in both eras and it supports her0 assult. Theres a stunning lake with dead bodys at the bottem. Which you shall soon join :shock:. Muahahahahahah. Lol. theres speeder bikes and a cut off part of the map were there is intensive battle with sniper and many vehicles and turrents for the people who want the quick pased killing. Have fun putting holes in yur buds head. Because no matter how many times you kill him hell be coming back! Lots of scenery, sniper towers, rocks, COVER in the most important part, and some secrets to discover =).

I think the loading screen keeps me more entertained than the screen shots.

1. Add foliage.
2. Add Texture.
3. More buildings.
4. extreme lack of props, no cover to hide in
5. Yavin should have trees not stone spires.
6. No ammo droids
7. change sky.

I told you those pics were bad... Those stone spires are actuly trees but since im so zoomed out you couldent c the leaves due to the transparency... There is foilage, 2 types of grass... There many bunkers... theres huts,rocks, trees ect... Theres like gazillion ammo droids... and the sky is good...

I TOLD YOU THE PICKS WERE BAD!

And the secret is 3 health droids, 1 you cant use and i more like wow thats wierd, the 2 others are hidden and secret for the two regions of the map.

Thats y i didnt want to post screenies and i said they were random, bad quality and the pics left out alot. >.< Play the map wen it comes out, once i get vehicles to work some how.

In other words... I have enrything you said was bad...

By the way this is my first map and thanks for all the 'support' oo well... *sigh* :cry:

As for all the critisism you were wrong... and for the sky part, thats y its a Yavin map...

Even if the screen shots are really bad, that doesnt really explain much, I mean, even if your LOD and veiw distance were down you could still show close ups, and you showed images of your units, so you still dont have very many props or objects added in.

Take screenies with LOD and veiw on high, and everything else on low, and I might be a little more impressed.

Well heres 5 more screenies of changes i made:

1.More Trees
2.Hills around border of map
3.More scenery such as a waterfalls
4.Vehicle props added in =)
5.Made the passage way for the vehicles to go around the lake.

And i finaly got in the screenies of the dead troopers. Theres alot under the lake and some on the ground.

Oo and the sky does fit because the red rain looks nice with that sky, sort of like a dark sun shower...

I'd consider this a pretty good start for a first map, keep up your work!

One thing that you might consider doing is making some high up platforms on either side, or surrounding the playing field that are connected, so that you can snipe those from across the map that are on them, and also to prey on the losers below.

Oooo, now looking at the pic i posted, it's really fuzzy and i covered up the gap with the circle, i can see if any of you guys can't notice the gap, but, it's hardly noticible anyway. I would reccommend fixing the platform though and making it larger. i could just imagine, walking that far up then falling off the edge and having to go climb up it again.

@piedude797= About that :lol: it works fine anyways.. i mean seriously if you want me to fix it... But when i run up it it works awsomly fine!

@Epena= Does yur name symbolize the horse from Zelda by any chance? And i will add 4 super high towers too the corners of the map, but i dont know about connectin dem.

Well i would also like to know wat makes my map not a map were people are gonna say *Cant wait to play!* And wat changes i can make that you people want, obviously i tell you those screens dont show the map, you gotta play it with many people, then tell me. Well well c as for now. Appreciate the feedback!

EDIT: Oo and i was reading some posts and people say...
Oo Finaly a map with-out that preset Yavin Sky
So i decided since people seem to be obsessed about the sky ill figure out how to change it and put in a nicer one =). Would appreciate some help in doing this and also help in getting a speederbike prop. Would someone mind making one? Well i'd appreciate if you would. :wink:

NEW FEATURES :D Dude this map looks sweet for a starter! You could possibly add new features to the game instead of the same old units that spawn and then die. Maybe even a new type of hero. Use your imagination! Since this is a made up map, you can apply any types of changes to your map.
