Nice looking pallet now all you need to do is make the forklift

Great pallet! Here's something of mine...
*boom*
First model where I've made the texture from scratch as well as the model.
And for those of you who want to see it in action...

And a more hi-rez of the explosion effect (which I also made):

a good start, however you can cut down the number of polys pretty hard if you do it like this:
(please excuse my bap paintskills, i dont have anything else installed(in case its not recognizeable:you can build it out of boxes, then all of thesee unnecessary "cut-edges" are gone)

Thanks for the nice comments.
@Darth D.U.C.K- I kind of get what your saying, but I was told you can't have a face with more than 4 edges and so i made the squares like that.
@theultimat- that looks superb, no offence, but that looks a lot better than you're first exploding barrel model. Good job

None taken, I completely agree.

I could hardly use XSI back then anyway, so this is a definite improvement (I hope xD).

If I was to make that out of boxes, all it would be is boxes on top of each other, they're not connect by vertices. I made all the squares so they would all be connect by vertices.

A box has six polygons on it. Each polygon has four sides. That means you'd have only 4 side polygons. 3 sided if you triangulated.

Yes, I know but that isn't what I mean. The boxes won't be connected then, or maybe they will and I am just ignorant.

You can have all the boxes as separate objects to construct it. Then just create a polymsh. All the polygons will be 4(or 3) sided.

yes, they wont be connected, but this saves about half of the polygons and looks the same
