Lighting Woes

So I've placed lights in ZE and burned the terrain, but all models and units are pitch black except when they're near a Command Post. Oh, and I have the ambient light to a really low level, because my map is set at night. Help? Thanks in advance.

what kind of lights did you place in ze? if you have a directional light you should enter its name under "directional light 1" on the right to make it a global light. also activate "enable specular" and "cast shadows" for it.

There's your problem; you need to use a directional light for global lighting.

Well, I'm using spot lights for light in a low ambiance light map. It's supposed to be night on this map.
EDIT: Crap, now the map wont load. It just freezes at the loading screen with the bar filled. I'll try and fix this.
