Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for the PS2 was story-focused, it was kinda boring though.

The Legend of Zelda (Wii VC version)- I just couldn't really get into it. Plus it gave little to no intro on what the heck your supposed to do.

"It's dangerous to go alone, take this" wasn't enough for you?

This is what adventure games were like - it gets a lot easier once you've done some exploring and learn where places are. You don't need much intro other than "stick the sword into the bad guys," though.

Though to be fair, it was made in the '80s - the video game industry was brand new back then, and games made before the '90s are pretty much ridiculously difficult. If you look at other games from that same period, you'll see that there wasn't really much of a story stated, unless you read the manual.
