Is it possible to greatly darken a stock world without using ZE? ZE crashes for me, but I want to test out some weapon's lighting changes on Utapau and want to darken the lighting to see the weapon's lights better.

I am pretty sure you can't change it without ZE.

Well, I did try
this, but like the OP of that thread, nothing seemed to change. Would it be feasable to edit the .wld file with Notepad?

Found something.
Go into your world1 folder and open ***.LGT.
That's the manual script for the light.
Set the default light (I think 128) to somewhat about 20.
That should darken everything.

It won't change the terrain color, since that needs to be burnt in ZE. That means all the objects will be affected, but your terrain will still be a lighter color.

Just play on Naboo: Theed(BFII) for laser lighting testing, as it has the right amount of darkness.
