How to get textured objects?
Probably a simple issue, so feel free to (lightly) mock me if this is the case, but when I place objects from the assets folder (ODF and msh files) into my mod folder, they often appear ingame and in zeroedit as untextured grey. All answers please in layman's terms as I havce literally only just downloaded the tools within the past 24 hours.

RE: How to get textured objects?
you must take the TGA's that are mentioned in the odf to MSH folder too.

tga's aren't mentioned in the odf, they are referenced in the MSH file. open with notepad and find out what texture it uses(in the first few lines) and copy that .tga file to your world1 folder

whoops. my bad
i always copy the whole MSH and ODF folders when i make a map so i guess i just forgot
EDIT: but you don't put the lone TGA in the world1 folder, it goes to the MSH folder.
when you're finished with the objects in the map, you have to place both the ODF and MSH folders from common to the data_[mapname]/worlds folder.
