SWBF2 Machinima Series?

I'm a machinima director - have been since 2005....and I have an idea that I wanted to kick off one day, hopefully soon. I think there should be an official GT comedy series.
I know there were a couple series out there, like '
A Clone Apart' or '
Destiny IV' (I acted in Destiny IV at least once), but I think two series are not enough and why not help GT out with the media department, eh?
And will try to keep it PG-13, but in-case any 'cursing' happens, the power of the 'bleeping out' will fall in place of any R rated words. I've been wanting to do a series in something forever, but my mind can never decide what it should be. If it isn't PG-13, well, for some people it may not be safe, because as we know, some people have sailor mouths (me lately, I know...shame shame). Or, we could have censored and uncensored ones for a wider audience? *shrugs* Because I want to appeal to a wide audience, but still be able to get away with saying something I probably shouldn't have, but want to respect people's ears for those who don't want to hear such words.
I honestly don't know how I'd pull this series off.
A) I'd have to get free camera (that's not a biggy, this can be covered quite well.
B) I'd need actors and people with ideas. And other people who can be cameramen too.
C) Skype is preferable for coordination [voice chat quality and stuff.], but X-fire is fine too, as well as Steam (but Skype's voice chat is best in terms of quality).
I'd need people who can help with names for the series, people who are willing, and our characters can be our aliases here if anyone wants so they have some kind of sense of who people are. And of course, nicknames, because saying 'RevanSithLord' all the time gets tiresome, so 'Rev' would take it's place, as an example. I know this sounds egotistical, but I'm going to be one of the main characters (I need more acting time, imo,). Or we could come up with new easy names.
My aim in terms of comedy will be kind of like RvB, but we'd have our own sets of jokes and stuff and maybe can make a few references to RvB if we wanted (and obviously give credit to Rooster Teeth, maybe, down the line, see what they think). I'm not going to 'copy' RvB at all, but the style of comedy/presentation is what I typically like and what I usually try to aim for. At the very least, the presentation. The characters (in one location), another group of characters (in the opposite location), crude humor against one another, etc etc. Right now these are the only examples I'm leaving for now.
Any who, if anyone wants to do a series just for GT (and even have it up on GT's main page as an on-going series if it kicks off, as well as a possible web-comic), just hook up with me in PM's or the suggested programs. I want a project to kick off and I just wanted to see if anyone will support this idea and participate if they wish.
Oh and we need some kind of story and people who can help scout out locations in Multiplayer. So anyone with a decent mic, feel free to drop by. And besides, it'd be nice hanging out with my GTers.

And remember, it's just what I've been thinking lately and I wanted to share it with you guys.
PS- I put it in SWBF2 General cause it relates to, well, SWBF2. It was either here or the media forum, but since I'm specifically gonna do it in SWBF2, I slapped it here. Move if you feel it is appropriate to.

If you dont mind me posting here I would like to add that I would make a good actor. No joke, and I'm not trying to brag here but I am #1 in Australia. I also have free cam installed on my comp that I use, so being a camera man wouldn't be any hassle. I also have a pretty sweet mic and I wouldnt mind talking over Xfire, TS3 or Vent.
I really like this idea and I would definatly like to be a part of it!

Sure, sign me up. I've got a skype, free cam, a decent headset, and a screen capturing program.
Fair warning, I do have a life, so in between classes and homework and work, I'll see what I can do. I usually have a fair amount of free time, though. I'm also pretty good at writing (I do fan-fictiony stuff for star wars), so if you need some episode scripts, I could help with that, too. And to top it all off, I've got two "supercomputers" (my Dell XPS desktop and my Alienware laptop) that I can use, the desktop to host a dedicated server and the laptop to play with almost no lag.
My xfire is warrioroftwilight. Add me and we can discuss details there after we know where this is going?

I can help as well! I'm not too great at acting, But I can be a good camera man. I also have a good, pretty much lag free PC, good graphics, and, if you needed it, I could make skins for the actors...

I won't have all the time in the world, but I have some

Wait, you can chat through Steam?
Since I don't have a headset or mic of any kind, as I've never exactly needed one, I can't participate, but good luck anyways.

I've been kind of interested in doing one that follows the movie. I've never mentioned it, but if we did one that followed the moviews, then there'd be no voices needded.
EDIT: 201!

Ah. It's quite alright, good sir.
For the people wanting me to add them, here's my Xfire contact info:

For Skype:

Just in-case. Adding peeps after I get done reinstalling everything and getting up to date.
@Press_Tilty- That's actually pretty cool. I've been giving myself a lot of things to do since I've had lots of free time on my hands. I already did the Battle of Hoth and the Battle of Geonosis. They weren't perfect, but alas, they were made. And that was with bots. But actors would be great here too.
@Any Cameramen I get- Note that I will need people to send me the footage or upload the raw footage, preferably in separate footage files packaged in a .rar file. Since I'll be doing the editing and such, you know. But this is later down the road when things happen. I will say that I'm a lax director, so I won't sound 'bossy', so no pressure. Since I'm doing this in my free time, there's obviously room for screwing around (well, seeing as how the series itself will be comedy, well, you know...). Heck I could use a few blooper reels anyways.
@Everyone- This will be fun if it's done right. I love film and I hope we can make something special. I need to definitely get more things out and what's better than playing with your friends from one of the forums you frequently visit and you make a story/series out of it? All funny plans will be taken into consideration. We need classic jokes as well as some inside jokes, that way at least some people can laugh at one thing in-case they don't laugh at something else, but we need to do it in some clever way.

Yeah, I tried scripting it out, but I don't have it memorized. A lot of the locales already exist.
Tantive IV
Tatooine
Cantina
Death Star
Yavin IV
That's really all we need for Episode IV.
And
The Falcon
The Award Ceremony
The Skywalker's house

Ooh! Ooh! I can act! *raises hand up high*
I've acted in a few machinimas, only, after we're done filming I either forget the name of the movie/the video is never uploaded (or both).
Xfire seems to be a good video capturing program (For me, at least). Here's an example of my cameraman skillz:

(I can try harder than that, btw. That was just a test to see how good the xfire cam on my comp was)

I suppose I'll put my name down here, but I'm only interested if something actually gets done. I've been in too many machinima groups where there's been great scripts, actors, etc and it just simply didn't come together.
But yeah. I suppose if you need a server or something, or maybe a small cameo role here and there, I'd be glad to help.

Thanks for the responses guys. Here's some personal replies.
@Fingerfood - Yeah, that's the major problem with most of them. They never get picked up off the ground or either just die off. To be quite honest, I'm kinda nervous cause I've never really 'directed' actual people really before in machinimas. In real life I did, but machinimas will be a tad more difficult, ironically, when trying to tell people where to go and what to do. This will be an interesting little experience for everyone including me.
@[TFA]Padawan_Fighter - Great quality footage from Xfire. You're hired!

But honestly, you're in. I might end up using X-fire to film instead of Fraps at this rate as well.
@Cerfon Rournes - Cameraman too, right? Anytime you're available, you can help out as well.
@Press_Tilty - Sounds like good ideas. We can try those down the road, or on the way.
@Twilight_Warrior - That's fine. Whenever you're available and whenever you feel like helping, just give me a holler. Life takes priority over things like this. Great that you have the resources to help out, though.
@SW_elite - Heck yeah! You're definitely in! Chicks here in America dig voices like that.

Number 1 in Australia, eh? That's awesome.
----
In between me doing this and real life, I also have guild media that I'm suppose to get to working on too. Since it's hard to get a job where I am, this kind of stuff is all I can really do until then to really occupy my time.

SW is banned now...which is unfourtunate. But I'm not going to argue so I don't get warninged.
Anyway, I'm in regardless of what we're doing. I've never acted, I'd rather script or camera.

I could do the camera... I've done it before.

@Press_Tilty- Okay. You may do whichever you prefer. The more cameramen the better, but the script is also important. The unfortunate thing right now is that I have no plot or story and that's what I need to get before the other stuff. Without plot or story, it's just a bunch of random useless junk that doesn't make sense. If you wanna do both, you can. If ya wanna stick to one, that's okay as well.
@Lozza- Consider yourself a cameraman, then.
I want my cast and crew to feel as comfortable as possible. I'm not the bossy type, so whatever anyone is comfortable with doing, then your wish is my command. And remember life comes first, so if anyone has any problems or concerns with things, please let me know.

I can help out with ingame acting, and I can try out for voice acting as well, once you've got an idea who the characters are going to be.
I'm generally a good writer as well, but I've got too much other writing on my plate right now to try to tackle something new. If someone else wants to write up a script and storyline, however, I'd be happy to critique it.

Okay, Rev, you have all these volunteers, maybe it's time to kick things off so this doesn't end up like the 10,000 other idea topics in SWBF2 General (Star Forge Project, Star Trek Project, etc).
EDIT: Fiodis politely informed me that I was wrong about the Medieval Project, and I wish him the best of luck with his endeavour.

I'll even join. I don't like to curse very much, so I'd like to keep a relatively clean personality. I'll get my friends Vat Rayen and Tourny into this. They've done machinimas before. Let's just hope we don't get sued by the Lucasinator. Dangit, copyright!

@Twilight_Warrior- Trust me, I'm doing what I can to make sure this doesn't die.
@CommanderFixer- Great! And yeah. Hopefully we don't get stopped by Lucas for copyright or something like 'A Clone Apart' did. Which was actually pretty stupid in my opinion but I'm not here to discuss how retarded 'law' can be.
@Xavious- Great to hear! If things pick up (which I hope they will), all actors and camera crew will be notified either here or through massive PM.
@Everyone- I'm not feeling so good right now from high blood sugars. Let's just say I didn't give enough to compensate for my food this morning (which happens) and now they're high. I took the necessary steps to bring them back down, though, but it'll take a bit. I'm going to go rest a bit and when I wake up, I'm going to start typing stuff in word pad and try to get started with things.
EDIT
Sorry for Double-Post, but I probably should have mentioned that the camera men need to patch their game to 1.2 for the sides and then eventually up to 1.3 revision 129. I hope this won't drive anyone away from the project. Right now Twilight_Warrior, Cerfon and I are brainstorming in-game. If you have Twilight_Warrior on your Xfire list, feel free to ask him for information about the server.
EDIT 2
Sorry staff. Won't happen again. Wasn't thinking.
EDIT 3

That's great. We kinda have something going right now as a basic plot outline, so I'll be sure to ask for any critiques/help to make it work out.
EDIT 4
One of my close friends, Superphrog2000 (met him on a different forums), wants to Voice Act. I'm going to give him a part as well. He may not have Battlefront 2 for PC, but he's been wanting to act in something of mine in like forever. So I'm going to also give him a main part. If someone wants to act in-game, but doesn't want to necessarily voice act, let me know. Since I told him about it, he won't stop bugging me. Lol.
Double posting is against the RULES, please EDIT your post instead -Staff

I added you on Xfire yesterday, and I'd be happy to act & maybe voice act. If you have enough people already that's fine by me, just I've been in like five of these groups, and so far all of them have given up. So hopefully this one will be the winner. ;D

Sorry, forgot to say that my Skype name is the same as my username here.
