I jump and I die

so that's the problem: I have a map (I made the models myself) and I was testing them ingame, then I realized that I die whenever I jump. Has anyone ever had this problem? I don't think its a model problem, and my collision meshes are just too high

It may also be that your maxflyheight/maxplayerflyheight is not set high enough. If your map goes up particularly high, or you accidentally changed that in the .lua, you would have problems with jumping.

Yes but would that kill you? I thought it'd just push you down or you'd be unable to jump or something. But you should definatly check that.

If your player is already above the max fly height then when you jump your get a lot of damage. 1-3 jumps can kill you. (Learned that working on Bespin: Platforms)

One jump mostly does the job ^^ But that ofcourse depends on the MaxPlayerHeight set in your lua :p

I had this error too, when I was testing out some custom bridges. Really freaked me out the first few times.

The most probably cause is the height. Jumping when your above min height can do many things.
If your way way above, you'll jump about .5 inches into the air and die immediatly (this is from my experience). If, say, your on a downward slope and jump, it can fling you down it, if you hit it right. It could just kill you. Either way you'll take damage.
You can sometimes be pushed through a model (this happened to me in the hanger of a venator on one of my older maps). Basically you fall halfway through, then stop, and then your health rapidly drains. Theres a way out but I forget.
Anyhow, if its any of these, or something similar, (actually even if its not), check your lua and make sure your max fly height is appropriatly set.
