This will be my second map, I know I'm working on an other map too, but I've got some problems with Geonosis.. This Orto map is about 80% done, just to cahnge the sides


So this map takes place on the ice planet Orto Plutonia seen in TCW.
My Orto Plutonia is an uncanon variation and it don't look like in the movie..
The battle is in front of a CIS Base in the stone canyons of Orto Plutonia

To do:
include sound for the laat
change rep and cis units
add local sides
solve error

add snow ( I have to know how to add )

snow is found in the .fx file go to the hoth world1 folder and look for hoth1.fx

open it with notepad and look for these lines

copy them and paste them into modid.fx (you will have to make this file)

you should make it in datamodid/worlds/modid/world1

then snow should appear you can also tweak some of the values in the .fx to make it snow harder or less

I have to say it looks substantially better than your first map. I was wondering when someone would make a Orto Plutonia...

I didn't get the thing about the snow, but I will try out it again.

Looks pretty nice, but are the snowtroopers seen in that episode going to be in there?

Yes I will include phase1 snow troopers ... I'm waiting for an anwser.

Cool, so since this is based off the episode, are Capatain Rex, Obi-Wan, and Anakin going to be in there? I already see Anakin is, but wasn't sure about the other two.

I like this map, altough it doesn't look like Orto Plutonia in TCW
I like the idea to add the locals in this map, they were never tried bevore, so far I know
Try to add the speeders Anakin and Obi-Wan use to fly around, this one with glass over the cockpit.

BTW, are you going to make a new mode, like Hunt: locals vs. people of the world, the senator ääääh, sry, forgot the name, also the name of their world . Would be fun if thei make war after the jedi left their sektor, just think about it.

I will include Rex in the Snow skin ( I hope so )
and a obi-wan and a anakin in snow cloths

The Bespin buildings have a new darker skin, but you only see them if you are in front of the building, why?
A Tusken camp

So I've got Delta-1035's Snow trooper skins and I'will use them.
About the Talz, I will add Wampas as a local side.
Also I will use blue AAT's and blue STAP's.

Rep Hero is Obi-Wan in snow skin
Until now I have no CIS hero, who has an idea?

btw. make improvement suggestions.

How about Durge for CIS hero? Or Sora Bulq? I think there are models already released and Bulq especially isn't used much. Right now the colour scheme looks more like Hoth, which to be fair, Orto Plutonia was made from concept art from Hoth. I might try to tweek the lighting, maybe make it a little darker. Just suggestions, looks good.

It looks awesome. For the CIS, A snow General Grevious, maybe with cape? Or maybe an extra powerful Wampa!

Have you added the snow legion yet? In the pics they are the normal 501.st Legion ones.And whats about a commander droid with snowy color as CIS hero? Simply, but great.

Anakin in snow cothes

the problem with the textures is because you didn't change the low res if you change the low resolution image it will work

hmmm... i think the snow Anakin's face needs a little more work. Other than that, this map looks very nice

anakin's "dress" is blue in the cartoon
