So, which one should I make once I finish Felucia?

I'm not a fan of TCW at all. IMO, if you do create any of the above, you ought to make it less cartoon-ish. Perhaps we could use more space maps. The few we do have, however, tend to be rather monotonous. If you could make it really stand out somehow from the normal launch-out-of-capital-ship-and-fight-enemies thing, go for that.

Rodia (which is a battle in Star Wars: Clone Wars Jedi Alliance for the DS)

Don't know what this is, but it's the only one on that list that hasn't already been done already as far as I know.

To avoid redundancy, you should do this one. Or one not on the list that hasn't been done.

Felucia is a planet that's been done almost as much as Geonosis. I realize it's not "true to CW" but several maps of the same planet that end up not being very different aren't really appealing. Go with a location that hasn't been done in Battlefront.

I don't agree with you on that part, but that may be because I look at it differently. If you make something in TCW-style-cartoon, you should be consistent and make every single object in this new style. I didn't like the cartoonish style of TCW at first too, but it has kinda grown on me. It's just that when you do cartoon style, you have to do it right and because there are very few who would also do new character models, effects and hud elements, it hasn't been done right. (yet*)

Or even better, plan how a map would function first, then choose the location when you go to make it.

One of the biggest problems with maps in general that I see are because they were started as "I want to make a [Planet] map" and not "I want to make a map." Think about bases, areas that would be good for control, cover, and then when your going to go get started in ZE, the location.

Also, don't fall into the "I just saw this on TV!" unit type, as Mav puts it. They make it so there's no reason to play as the other units. Test out how they function around the stock sides, or your own, should you do that, if they are overpowering then there needs to be a health or weapon reduction.

As for locations that I would prefer, why not a battle inside of a CIS Cruiser, like the one scene I've actually decided to watch of this series with General Grievous running around chasing someone whose name escapes me at the moment? Dragonum made a rather large model with an interior that could have other assets combined with it.

I've already made plans for a map, and want to have TCW characters in it, I can't just find a good planet for it.

Do you mean his infamous capitol ships? Or is there more?

Perhaps a campaign battle where republic troops force into a landed Confederacy frigate would be good?
You could pick any planet (It doesn't have to be canon)

What a great idea! I will be using that in my map, if it will fit.

I vote for Battle of Coruscant City (right before the beginning of Episode 3).

I always wanted to see a battle of Honoghr, simply because it's never been done before, and IMO, it would be pretty cool to do. Unfortunately, it's most likely one of the more complex maps to do.

Has a battle of Devaron been done before?
