CP Capture problems and 1.1/1.0 compatibility problems

Hello GT, long time no see :)

For whatever reason, I decided to finish my map, battle of the bridge http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 29&t=23357
I never got around to finishing it due to personal issues, but now with school out I guess I'll actually finish it :)

Anyways, I've encountered a couple problems. First, I seem to be able to play my map in 1.0, but when I try in 1.1 I get a crash as soon as I spawn.

In addition, my fourth CP seems to be set up correctly, yet it I cannot capture it. I have the capture region set up, the paths set and the CP itself, all properly linked together. On my map, I initially deleted the fourth CP but decided to add it back, and now that I have it doesn't seem capturable.

I'm sorry if these questions seem silly, its been like 2 years since I've done this last so I forgot almost everything :(

No idea about the 1.1 problem. With your cp problem, the best thing I can suggest is a manual clean and munge, and if there's no difference, delete cp4 and everything to do with it and add it again. If it still doesn't work, you're most likely setting it up wrong.

Had a similar problem with a cp before. Later on I realized I mistakenly added a space character in ZE after the name. As lucasfart suggested, try redoing your cp.

I'd also recommend to add SetMemoryPoolSize("SoldierAnimation", 500) to your scripts.

alright, I've done a manual clean and I've deleted the old CP/everything connected to it, and I've redone it, but it's still not working. I took a couple screenshots of the CP, the region and the paths

From what I remember, that along with the LUA is all that is required for adding a CP I think(I consulted fierfek's guide as well)

yeah, that's all you should need for a new cp. Could you post your BOB_conquest.lyr in your world1 folder? As locotus said, you're probably just naming something slightly wrong (with a capital letter or extra space or something like that).
