Umm...are you guys honestly arguing about how possible half the stuff in Iron Man was?
Two things:
(A) Pretty sure things like
(B) It was a superhero movie. It was a lot more realistic/plausible than practically any other superhero movie.
PS. Still think it was good. Would say 3.5/5, but I've never really been a big fan of superhero movies.
PPS. that Jericho thing was evil and awesome. Do not insult it.

Oh yeah a week ago i saw a topic on Yahoo (which for some reason appears on the news 2 days later) is that the army has made a exo-skeleton arrmor for troops thats being tested there supposedly being tested with moving, packing, and unpacking things :maulsaber:.
And syth if you go and pick up the book (the one released just b4 the movie) the reason why he makes the suit is because of a story Ho Yinsen says to him, about a prince who is exiled by his father into the mines but comes back a man as strong as iron, and if im not mistaken kills his dad.

Awesome movie! Even better than Spider-man IMO! Too bad the movie is only 2 hours long. Best thing in the whole movie for me would be the killer suit and that Jericho missile.

Just saw this yesterday, and it was great! And while most superhero movies have sort of the same theme, guy reforms, gets best friend or close friend as girlfriend, friend villian or someone he just met betrays him, this was slightly different. Only problem was, there was no defined theme music.

I guess you could say "Iron Man" was the theme song.

Yah, but it only played at the end, and while after watching a trailer of The Dark Knight, I had the song in my head, after the entire movie Iron Man, I couldn't keep that music in my head. I think Iron Man should have played during the movie, or they should have made theme music.

Agreed -- maybe not the main part of the song, but at least one of the catch riffs.

It looks awesome, I'll have to convince my parents to let me watch it.

The only actual part I really didn't like when the movie was over was the final fight. Dont get me wrong, it was great, but it was unsatisfying, for myself at least. It was good, and it didn't leave a sour taste after the movie, it just sort of didn't feel right an hour or so after. Tony doesn't really fight, he gets tossed around. It would be much more exciting if they actually fought, like how he fought the terrorists. Also, Stane was new at the robot thing, and he stated that, but it seemed as though he had lots of practice, since he knew exactly how to do everything in it. Also, Tony didn't really defeat Stane, Pepper did. (Btw, what kind of name is Pepper Potts, no offense

)
It was good, but that part was, well.... not AS good.

The general consensus seems to be that that was the weaker part of the movie, and I'd have to agree.

I just saw the movie today and I have to say it was much better than I thought it would be. I'm gonna have to buy this one when it comes out on DVD
