I was wondering if there was a tutorial anywhere (I did search for it) that would tell me how to set up a plane in xsi and export it int bf2?

You did check out these right
XSI Tutorials or were you talking more specific as to what is required hardpoint, pointing direction etc to be proper once it is exported.
The movie tutorials may help you build it and there is a vehicle one to tell you how to get it in game. now once in game there is a whole mess of other things you can play with to make it work realistically, most important of which is springbodies. Then of course you could always do a 9pose animation so it looks like the persion is steering the bike and treads to make it look like the wheels are turning (the tire part at least no getting the spokes to rotate sorry) Did I scare you off yet

Um, I think I need to learn a bit more about animations before i even think about doing this. (I understood 40% of what you just said

) Do you need the paid version of XSI to create 9pose animations?
What i ment is a tutorial showing what is required to make a vehicle work ingame and what the things you place do so that you understand exactly were to place them on your vehicle. Also is there any difference on a ground vehicle and a ship, and if there is any special things you got to do in xsi to set up a turret on a vehicle.
