Make dead clone model use remapped version?

I downloaded Wazmol69s Dead Clones from his assets pack and was wondering if it was possible to make the models use a remapped version of the clone skin. They currently use the standard one that mirrors itself.
Is this possible and if so how is it done?

I can`t seem to get it working. My game crashes. I replaced the odf`s geometry names with rep_inf_trooper. It`s not a new skeleton so I didn`t do the animation munging thing. I did that for both deadunit and deadunit_lying_1 because I only placed deadunit_lying_1 in my world
