Well I still have the source files for the Kadrala/Sraiden GCW sides lying around somewhere....so if you like I'll make a coupla minor adjustments (once I find them) and give you them.

Yup thats a good idea but i'll think about it ... i still wanna keep a class base star wars flavor ... ( u'll see what I mean when u'll see my sides )

I'm sure you remember I signed up to beta on xfire yesterday so no need to go over that again .

The new map looks nice but 2 problems I see, it seems to be a VERY large map and that typically means bad gameplay, and also the objects under the light show EVERY poly and that just doesn't look good I suggest you fix that up so the amount of light on each poly is smoother.

don't worry ... the map is fairly small ... and by that I meen that with 16 Ai on each team ... we fill the map

Oh and one question for you all, do you like the dwarf spider droid ... should i add it with the atst ( oneman ) in all my previously infantry only maps ?

Give the spider droid a break on this one, we've been seeing a lot of them lately. I never use them because they're so slow, that's also why they never make it to the battlefront. i like the lighting on the map, looks like it has an alien sort of feel to it.

Very nice pics, dude! Will there be any random skys and AI heroes? That always boosts the creativity for maps.

I guess my opinion is different than yours Nova Hawk, I personally think that doing what everyone else does isn't that creative.

But back on-topic, still to me that new map has awkward lighting on the objects, each edge has such a different color to me it just looks VERY unrealistic and odd.

lol you really don't like that lighting don't u lol and ya well I can't really have changing skys because the lighting of each map cannot change depending on the sky so it would be a problem ( unless i can do that, then it would be cool ) but the AI heroes, yup i'm working on it, thats gonna be in the final stages of the making, for now the beta is going to focus on gameplay, map design and the sides, then i'll localize, add loadscreens and little touches for polish.
Hope u liked these little teaser pics this is the new alaris prime... since it's the end of the C.I.S occupation, i though I should at least make the map so it shows the damage they did to this planet and it's inhabitants...

You can do random lighting...and random weather...and for that matter random terrain, foliage etc etc - go to everything you need thread, there's a tut on it.

I really like Aargonar, it is so surreal.

Nice Jedi, he looks original with that cloak and the reverse Shoto.
And he kinda reminds me of Alex Mercer from Prototype, well, at least in that picture.
