rep_Gun?

Ok, I have a republic assault ship in my map and my game crashed. I investigated in the ModTools.exe thingy and all the Error: 3 messages said something like this:
"Could not find odf for Rep_Gun06"
"Could not find odf for Rep_Gun03"
"Could not find odf for Rep_Gun05"
and so on. I looked in the rep sides folder under assets to see if I could find it and there wasn't anything there. I looked under the space template and still nothing.

Can somebody tell me what I am doing wrong?

Rep_Gun06, 03 and 05 are probably objects for your capital ship. It's missing the odf that goes with them.

I already figured that but I looked all over the assets folder and I never found an odf like that!

What exactly is the rep_gun anyway? Maybe that could help me find the odf

He may have "looked" all over, but everyone makes mistakes, and he may not have seen it.

Ok, I just did a search to be on the safe side and I have nothing about rep_gun's in either the rep folder or the space templates. Should I have searched for rep_gun?

Anyways, if I could find out what it is, I might just be able to erase it in ZE to keep it from crashing.

just search your entire mod directory for rep_gun.
It sounds like a hard point to me tbh, but its saying odf so who knows.
In ZE in object mode, in the left section of the object browser, type rep_gun. See if anything comes up - and be sure that you do it for all layers ([Base], Conquest, ect)
Also, if your using custom sides check the odfs of the units ingame to make sure you didn't give any of them a weapon entitled 'rep_gun'.
