Simple as that.
I push the Print Screen button, it makes a freeze as if it actually took something, but I look in the folder and there's nothing there.
The folder is in Gamedata.
Chat logs don't work either...

Not another folder, they just hide 'em. In Vista/Win7, you need to make sure "View Compatibility Files" is selected. Then you should be able to see the screenshots and chat logs.

Try Organize>Folder and Search Options>View>Hidden files and folders>Show hidden files and folders

I've got Win7 and the Compatability Files button isn't there. I reach them by going into:
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
Where AppData is a hidden folder.

Already have that selected, nothing.

I went to VirtualStore and then to the corresponding place in Program Files...still doesn't show up.

Can you do screen captures with the print screen key in general? When you took your screenshots in SWBF2, was the frame rate moderately low? In my experience, when this was the case, the screenshots I took did not show up in the Screenshots folder. However, I was still able to paste the last shot I took into an image editing program.

No, I can't. When I press printscreen, for some reason it takes the screenshot OUTSIDE of BF2 when it is pasted into Paint. In this case it took a screen of GT.

Depending on your operating system you might have to go into Program Files (x86). At any rate, poke around in VirtualStore and see what you can find. If nothing comes up try looking under C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming.

Well whaddya know, I already looked there, but I looked again. I didn't see the compatibility button thing, but I DID see the chatlogs and screenshots.
So I can't make it save screens and chatlogs to the normal directory?

I think you can by editing the security settings for the folder. I've had this work for several of my games now, and I got munged maps to go to the normal addon folder instead of the compatibility one, too.
