Battle for Republic City (Released)

This is my map from the mapping contest recently held on SWBFFiles. I am proud to say it came in third
A brief history of the map, almost every building has been re-UV'd to fix pandemic errors, have shadowvolumes added
(but I know now why they don't put them on a lot of buildings but that is another story) as well I have changed most of the collisions so they are tight to the building. Have also changed the ground textures and added more bling to make the map more appealing
Anyway on to the details, have added more modes to the map, both CTF modes and hero assault. With the hero assault mode since all the collisions have changed you can now fight across the rooftops. The Conquest mode is staying the same as it appeared in the mapping contest, three types of units a side. May add a XL mode with all the units available just for total chaos.
The 1 flag CTF can get quite intense in the middle where the flag home base is.
The map is about 90% just adding more barriers and a touch more bling.
Here are the in game pics, enjoy

Whoa, nice pics! And also, was the design of the city intentional or unintentional? (Just had to ask seeing the pics and the change in the map name)

Will there be any custom clone legions?

@Ping
It didn't start out that way but quickly developed into it. The map name change was because it sounds more exciting as
Battle for Republic City than Naboo: Urban Street Fight. I think people tend to stay away from maps with Naboo in the name.
@obiboba3po
tested the sniper hunt mode with my favorite sniper (RepSharpShooter) and it tended to actually be very boring so it went away.
@Nova Hawk
No

The AI just stood around and did nothing

Did you remember to give them death match AI Goals? or are they just grumpy.
Glad to see this great map being touched up, the rooftop jedi duels were amazing.

I think I gave them sleeping pills
And yes it was fun fighting across the rooftops, using the center Rotunda sort of like a King of the Hill.

I have not much to say on such piece of ....
Well, i mean, sheee! Is this all you can do? Take some sucky pandemic buildings, and improve them?
You've really made them 20.000 times better, also the pics you've shown me over X'. I think this is also the most funky and original map layout ever!
Great job, and remember my offer is still on the table (dutch saying

)

@Tygr
Yes I will most likely release the fixed Naboo buildings there really is only about 6 or 7, and maybe some of the merged ones. Took a couple of buildings and mirrored and merged them into one so they fit seamlessly.
@Benstwo and MandeRek
Thanks for the compliments, I am not sure about 20000 times better, maybe only 10000
Hmm offer still on the table, did it involve cookies and coffee

I think that gras texture looks terrible. Maybe you should use a better one(for example from the Bf1 naboo plains assets) and add some trees.

yeah i would agree. It looks kinda... pastellish. If it was darker,or more green, I think it would look better.
On a lighter note, this map looks excellent

even though i dislike the naboo buildings, i dont know why, but they just look kinda flat and un-stony. Still, map looks great, cant wait for the release!

Started adding the XL mode, 100 units per side right now, the CIS/IMPS start in the middle while Rep/Alls start at the outside and move towards the center. All units are included in this, sort of to make up for limited units in Conquest. Must go put in more planning and barriers now, silly AI.
Pics of XL
Oh and just because I found a sweet spot got 74 on the Killing Spree
