I am back after a long time, got BFII on steam and other stuff, but anyway, I got back to modding some stuff and I got a little problem.
After some Jedi Academy research I decided to make some weapons, flechette launcher and heavy repeater to name a few, and those are supossed to use "SHELL" type of ordnance, so I decided to use some stock effects and modify them with Particle Editor, but there is one thing I can't do... make them smaller, you know, it would be a little bad to have flechettes to have a trail the size of a missile (rockettrail effect) or worse, have the repeater's shells the same size.
So, how can I make effects like those trails smaller? I thought the SIZE parameter on Particle Editor was the key, but no matter how low I set up the scale, it always comes out the same size as before.
Any experts here?

Re: Question regarding effects (Particle Editor maybe)
Here's a tutorial going through a few basic operations of Particle Editor, including how to change the size of most effects. Link.
Which reminds me, I ought to finish up Part II to that sometime soon....
