missing texture

Uh oh!! when I went to change the name in editlocalize I accidently deleted all of the weapon names!!!!!!!!!!! What do I do?:shock:

Hebes you find inf_officer in data_MODID-editlocalize then change it to inf_officer_gray.

from what I know there is no way to fix that. You could munge another map and they will all be back. But either way you'll probably have to scrap your current map.

I changed the name and it works! oh well, I guess I'll be shooting people with an "all_weap_inf_rifle" from now on...

You're pretty much screwed then. Unless, of course, you want to go to all the trouble re-writing all the weapons and and such. I'd make a new map.

There's a really simple fix for that. Just:

1-go to [mod tools folder]/data/common/localize
2-select all and copy
3-go to [mod tools folder]/data_[project name]/common/localize
4-paste over your old files
5-go to [mod tools folder]/data_[project name] and run editlocalize.bat
6-go to mapnames and add a key called [project name here]. Then edit the values to have your map name.

Dude... just look in the localize tool at how the other maps are in there. Is it really that hard?

Sorry. People seem to be ignoring my questions lately. All of the weapons are back now and I added my map under names and descriptions. Hopefully it will work! *crosses fingers*
